Don’t Write Off Your TRACK Trailer
While it may be inevitable that some RVs will be damaged in action, did you know we have seen some perfectly repairable TRACK Trailers written off?
While their owners may have been paid out at market or agreed value for this, there is a real loss of value for the owner and the community, as not only will insurance excess be deducted from the payout, but also the community now has scrap metal and landfill, instead of a working asset.
This outcome contravenes TRACK’s Sustainability Values and so this note is to advise owners of a better option.
Did you know that TRACK Trailer:
- can re-manufacture parts from the original drawings for vans up to 20 years old?
- Has staff on hand who likely built the van, even these older vans and know how they should be put together
- Can repair a Tvan or Topaz so it’s restored to pre-crash condition or better.
In many cases the cost of repair is much less than the value of the van and it will give years of excellent service after.
If you are unlucky enough to have an accident, or otherwise damage your TRACK Trailer, call us first.
We can usually take care of everything from your insurance claim, to transport and of course restoration of your van.
Also, make sure you are aware of the depreciation that your insurance provider is applying to your Track and contact them if you feel it is getting well below replacement value.
