We have a winner!
Tim and Julie from NSW have won $1500 worth of fuel vouchers for telling us where they want to go in their new Tvan MK5 Murranji.
Tim and Julie are a great example of typical Track Trailer owners and are hardworking, driven people with a passion for camping and touring. Tim retired only a year ago after racking up 45 years working for Telstra.
“Julie and I have had camper trailers for the last ten years but decided last year we wanted to upgrade to a more capable camper that we would be able to take to more remote parts of Australia.
After around a year of visiting camping shows and considering all of the campers available we decided to go with a new Tvan. The new features on the Mark 5 (such as the Quick Cover awning, Skyward Lift and premium kitchen) made a great camper even better.”
Tim and Julie collected their custom built Tvan in February from Camperact at Narellan and lined up a short shakedown trip to Wombeyan Caves (about 4 hours southwest from Sydney) to try things out.
“We were lucky with the weather, having several fine days with nights that were ideal for a campfire. We enjoyed looking through the spectacular caves and seeing plenty of visiting wildlife around the camp. The Tvan was brilliant, making a comfortable base for our daily excursions.”
When asked what next Tim replied:
“We intend to do some shorter trips to music events like the Man from Snowy River festival in Corryong and exploring the high country nearby.
Our first big trip away will be to the Big Red Bash in July.
We are looking forward to meeting up with other Tvan owners there and also exploring the area, never having been there before.
Plenty of adventures yet to come.”
And in question to, where do you want to go? – Tim and Julie answered:
“We can go anywhere we want to. As recent retirees, we finally have the time to take those interesting looking side roads less travelled. We are looking forward to our adventures ahead with our comfortable, capable Tvan travelling along behind. We love our new Tvan.”
