Up for sale is this one-owner Mk4 Firetail Tvan, fitted with the higher roof option and factory installed Quick Awning that both became standard for Track when the Mk5 Tvan was introduced. Owned by an older Townsville-based couple, this Tvan has been used for local and interstate travel adventures but not abused or taken into harsh off-road situations. Well maintained by a local mechanic, it has just had a brake and bearing service completed with new wheel bearings and brake magnets installed ready for the next owner.
The Firetail model was such a popular Tvan that Track have reintroduced the model name to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Tvan production. With a lower ball weight than Mk3 models, this Firetail comes equipped with a larger 120W roof-mounted solar panel, a 108L rear Water Tank, the same Premium Kitchen that is fitted in brand new Tvan’s, a rear Insect Screen for quick overnight stops, a larger front box that could accommodate a 60L fridge and very functional storage to make use of all available space.
Recently upgraded with 2 x 100Ah Lithium batteries (to replace the original AGM’s), Victron solar controllers and 2 x new Falken Wildpeak A/T tyres – this Firetail presents in great condition and has the following options installed from factory:
